Who are we and what do we do?

Max Little and Mars are two trans Cancerian drag artists in an infinite creative 69. Max enjoys magic and astrology, vulnerability (sharing his butt with the world), holding creative containers, and the question “why?” Mars enjoys science and astronomy, gender, being promiscuous with art forms, and the question “how?” They live, laugh, and love each other in (so-called) Portland, Oregon. 

As Max & Mars Present, we co-produce magical drag containers where drag is art, and gender is our creative material - from drag shows, to drag-ified adaptations of Broadway musicals, to drag films, and TV! We create community-driven drag extravaganzas that are political, connective, accessible, and entertaining. We’re guided by an anticapitalist and trans ethic with regard to media, power, and space-holding, and a commitment to reinventing Drag media to value performers, audiences, and producers as equal partners in this work.
